1968 Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.012 Cal. 321 (Pre-Moon)
This 1968 Omega Speedmaster Professional Ref. 145.012 features the revered Calibre 321 and comes from a collector in very good overall condition. The watch has been fully serviced and retains its original Omega bracelet, though it is currently fitted with a black aftermarket leather strap secured by a stainless steel buckle.
The matte black dial displays luminous painted baton hour markers, outer minute and seconds divisions and outermost 1/5-second markings. The sub-dials include running seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour register at 6 o’clock. Luminous baton hands and an arrowhead chronograph seconds hand complete the period-correct layout. The 42 mm case provides the iconic Speedmaster presence associated with this reference.
Interesting Fact: The 145.012 was the final Speedmaster reference to use the Calibre 321, making it a favourite among collectors who appreciate the movement’s design and historical significance.
